Not always the proud owners of a creative studio, Big Dreamz Creative principals, Tommy and Nancy Fields' complementary talents were sharpened during their previous careers. Tommy honed his video production skills while working in television as Creative Services Director. Much of his audio production, copywriting and editing skills came during his time as Imaging Director and on-air talent for multi-station radio clusters. Nancy's background as a creative in advertising agencies, corporate in-house marketing teams and with various non-profit organizations as a Director of Communications, sharpened her skills in design, illustration, photography, media relations and creative strategy.
Big Dreamz Creative began in 1999 as a part-time video production business based out of the Fields' spare bedroom. In 2006, the company moved to its current 2,100 square foot building outfitted with multiple edit suites, office space and a large multi-function studio complete with a 15 by 20 foot green screen.
Over the years, the husband and wife team has won numerous awards for work in a variety of categories, ranging from web design and video production to photography and graphic design, often competing with firms who specialize in only those areas on a national level. In 2008 Big Dreamz had the honor of being nominated for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year Award.
